Wow, this website is super! I started watching Y and R in 1973 when I was nine and continued to watch until 1987 when you went off the program. I refused to watch at all until 1997, and still miss you on the show, JW is not Jill, you still are Jill to me! I still have a letter and photo you sent to me from 1986 and I have to say along with the rest, Jess Walton will NEVER be Jill Foster Abbott. I've watched Y&R since the early 80's and have to say that the show has never been the same. And don't even get me started on todays fashion on it. There seems to be none! In fact the only thing that holds me to it is the vet stars from the early days & the hope that some day Jess will retire and it will be like a bad dream and suddenly you will reappear as Jill. It's hard enough on any replacement but you are by far the hardest to ever get over. I don't think I ever will. I love you and hope you will be back on TV somewhere. I don't really watch DH but if you were added to the cast I would be hooked. Best in 2008!!!
Well, I see that I am not alone in my opinion that Brenda Dickson is the only true Jill. I started watching Y and R again in 1997 after a ten-year-ignoring of the program. I really never have gotten used to JW as Jill, and certainly agree that Brenda's return to Y and R would be the "icing on the cake" for all Y and R fans. Here's hoping "back by popular demand" will become a reality ASAP! Brenda is forever loved and appreciated by her fans.

I read about your incarceration awhile back and googled your name to find out more information. I was happy to find your site. I decided to check back in and was surprised to find this blog. It amazes me that I could have easily written many of these entries since they share many of my feelings and history as a fan. Oh..and there's seems to be some confusion. I...AM YOUR BIGGEST FAN! I may not have the technological finesse to load your work onto your web site or YOUTUBE, but I did splice together a tape (in the 80's) that begins with your scene from Taxi Driver and focuses on the story/struggle of Jill, Katherine, Phillip Sr. and young Phillip through flashbacks, etc. It's sort of like a movie. I'd love to share it on your site if you're interested. I plan to write the powers in Hawaii and at "Housewives" as you requested.
